Paisley's One Year Photos

I'm delayed in adding these 1st year photos because she didn't do quite as well as we'd hoped!

You might notice a complete lack of smile, or even personality in general.  :)

She liked this chair.  It was the only thing she liked.

Great shot of her adorable tutu.

Beautiful face.  Even if she does hate taking pictures.

At least she put some effort into this one with the finger.  I'm surprised she didn't use the middle one!

I love the colors of this picture even if she is a bit put off by being in it.
Picture taking is NOT fun for this family.  Paisley hates it.  So much that we have left with a child in tears and adults having panic attacks.  And it doesn't matter if we take her to a portrait studio or outdoors (like we did here), she just doesn't want to be herself for pictures.  And most of the time, she cries.  So, enjoy these.  They are most definitely the last professional photos that we'll have done for a LONG time.  :)

  2. LOL, she looks gorgeous! Love them! You just reminded me that I never posted Jackson's 1 year photos! I will have to follow your lead and do that soon;). Jax actually likes the camera, so we got some good ones;). We are doing family pictures this weekend, though, and I am VERY nervous! Anyway, Paisley is gorgeous as ever:)!

  6. What a beautiful family! Paisley looks super cute to me, but sounds like you paid a high price to get those pics. I also have pics of my kids that may look cute to others, but my memory of the torture involved in taking them will always taint them for me!

  10. She is precious! I haven't quite found the boy equivalent of a pink tutu but am keeping my eyes open so I can have pics like this!

Thank you so much for your comments. I feel crazy for feeling this sense of dread and it is incredibly comforting to know I am not the only one.
