HUGE belly!!!

Almost 30 weeks pregnant 37 weeks pregnant with Paisley So, it just seemed to happen overnight.  Baby Deuce got gigantic.  Yeah, we knew from the ultrasounds that this child has been exhibiting rapid growth.  In fact, we know that the baby is weighing the same as babies 4 weeks older in gestation.  But I guess I hadn't noticed that my belly was also growing crazily!  This past week, I've had many comments about "you must be due anyday now" or "wow, that's a big baby!"   And I didn't really see it.  But today I tried on this purple tank top from my 1st pregnancy which I wore up until the end.  And it barely covered my belly.  In fact, I had to layer a blank tank under it to cover the gap.  I'm not even 30 weeks.  And I've officially outgrown a LOT of my maternity clothes.  Then, Aaron took this picture today at a Memorial Day festival we went to with our friends and I was schocked when I saw it.  I look as big as I did full-term wit

28 week Ultrasound

Deuce was looking good and healthy at today's ultrasound.   He/she weighed 3 pounds, 11 ounces (normal is 2.5 lbs) and measured a full 3 weeks ahead in every area.  This places us in the 97th percentile... Good news is that I won't be having a scrawny baby and Aaron is going to get that baby he wanted with fat rolls (Paisley has always been too long and skinny for rolls).  Bad news is that I have to give birth to this jumbo baby.  I'm pretty sure the cheeks are fatter at 28 weeks than Paisley's were at birth.  And hers were pretty plump.  This baby is super photogenic though and loves to look directly at the ultrasound.  Even if my baby is going to be born wearing 3-6 month clothes and require us to team-lift for our back's safety, I still say this is one cute little fetus!!!

Dominican Republic

I'm actually not sure that I'm not going to crash blogger by posting this many photos, but we honestly had such a great trip to the Dominican that I can't possibly narrow it down anymore!  It was the most relaxing week I've had in as long as I can remember.  Paisley has never been happier and the week was really perfect.  :) Paisley modeling her bikini on the beach Nothing feels better than being able to lay on my stomach again with the help of a sand hole! Paisley liked to roll in the sand.  It wasn't fun unless the sand was covering every single inch of her tiny body. Naptime with her "doo-doo"- the not so cute nickname she gave my mom long ago Downward facing dog on the beach Dancing on stage with the other kids at the resort- she LOVED this Very pregnant and ready for dinner My still handsome husband Paisley proud of her drum we bought her Rockin' the baby bump Learning to eat with chopstic

Dominican Republic!!!

We leave bright and early Friday morning for the Dominican Republic.  For those who don't know, we went there for our honeymoon and then again 4 years later with our best friends.  Now, here we are 4 more years down the road and we're taking our daughter!  (And my mom...) I took my 1st anti-malarial pill last week and I have to take them once a week for 5 more weeks.  Survived with just some minor nausea.  Lucky considering the potential side effects!  Now, I just have 2 days of work left and a quick doctor's check-up on Thursday and we're ready to go!  Looking forward to seeing how large I'm measuring this week...  :)
