23 weeks: Belly Photos Included

I've been reminded that I'm doing TERRIBLY at posting pictures of my belly.  Well, there is one simple reason for that.  I'm also awful at taking them!  For some reason, the weeks just pass by too quickly to sneak in one quick picture of my ever-growing bump and a certain 19-month-old is keeping me on my toes! 

Also, I just don't feel as cute this time around.  I haven't gained any more weight than I did the first time around and my bump probably looks about the same, but it just feels different.  My maternity clothes seem to look funny now and I never have the time or energy to do my hair and make-up like I did the 1st time. 

This is Paisley's belly bump for comparison to now- I think it's VERY similiar.
Current Pregnancy!  Up to a 12 pound weight gain after a rapid gain this past week...

Notice that I'm too lazy to even tape the sheet up this time.  :)
Anyways, I still feel great and I still adore being pregnant.  The movement is always going to be my favorite and this little one does LOTS of it.  :)  Just really excited to see this sweet little baby and know who's been growing in my belly so rapidly!!!

    You talk about being lazy- I've been reading on my phone lately and have been too lazy to actually get on the computer to comment. I've been following your latest pregnancy drama and thinking of you- so sorry! Hope the rest of the way is smooth sailing. Also, you look adorable!

    You look gorgeous! And, yes, very similar to how you carried Paisley! I'm so excited to see pictures of this little one:). Oh, and it's not lazy - I had Jax when I was pregnant with Addy so I did very little in the way of getting dressed, fancy photo sessions, etc, lol! It is what it is!

    I think you look great friend! I feel like I didn't feel quite as cute either my second pregnancy so I totally understand. And I'm totally impressed you let Paisley dye 4 dozen eggs. I let E dye 3...I'm obviously not as brave as you. :)

    Not to be like staring at your boobs or anything but your boobs looked bigger with paisley :) Adorable bellies!!!! I really should have taken more belly pics and posted them!! :(

    Super cute baby bump!!

    Re: coconut oil -- if you use it in a smoothie (or anything cold) melt it in the microwave, then while blending the smoothie pour in the oil quickly. Otherwise it gets chunky and gross as it resolidifies! But it really works!

Meet Our Little Miracle, Paisley Kate

The post I have been waiting 2 years to write is finally here and I can't really believe it. On Saturday, I woke up at 8:30 a.m. with BAD contractions. By the 2nd one, I knew I was in "real" labor. They were SO different than the braxton-hicks. I got out of bed and decided that I'd take a bath, until water ran down both legs. The pain after that got pretty unbearable immediately and I was having contractions every 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. So, I called Aaron at work to tell him it was "the big day". He decided I was kidding until I nearly leapt through the phone to wring his neck. :) We got to the hospital an hour later and I was dilated to a 4 and having very active contractions. I'm Going to Let You in on a Little Secret

My dear blog readers, Those of you who know me well know that I do not keep secrets. It's actually physically impossible for me to keep a secret. So, it's going to really surprise many of you to find out that I've been staying silent about something pretty big. It has been WAY too long since I’ve posted here and I’m eager to rejoin the blogging world!!!  The kids are 5 and 7 and super fun, I’m working at a medspa doing injectables and lasers full time and I’m 14 years in to marriage now.   But here’s where life has now lead me!  I have been driven to do a medical mission trip over the past few weeks and I’m very set on Haiti.  Yes, they are currently having a temper tantrum over the increased fuel prices which they definitely can’t afford, but that country needs help!!!!!   So, I’m here to tell my story of how this all goes!  I’ll need lots of prayers and support in this crazy endeavor!
