My Busy Little Girl!

I sometimes wonder why I don't have time in the day to blog for 15 minutes.  And then I upload our pictures from the month and remember that this little princess of mine keeps me SUPER busy!!!   Here's what Paisley's been up to these days:
Learning to drive her car, which was a 1st birthday present from her Grandma.  She fills the trunk of it with her bracelets and necklaces!

Posing for the camera- don't let her fool you.  She's a diva!

Cheering on her Cowboys!

Helping daddy with a raccoon spay at work

Eating corn on the cob at the state fair (Look- no hands!!!)

Picking apples at the state fair

Cheesing for the camera right before we tried to take professional photos for the 2nd time.  This smile quickly turned to tears when we went into the studio...  :(

Playing at Gymboree

Laughing like crazy at Gymboree

Again, Gymboree.  We have LOTS of fun here!
I apologize once again for being such an absentee blogger.  I read everyone else's blogs regularly still and even comment as much as I can.  But this is how I fill my days now.  Plus working 2 jobs and trying to sleep every now and then...

  1. Wow! You guys ARE busy :) Love the pictures! She looks like such a happy girl :) ps-I give you and Paisley credit. If a racoon was that close to me I would turn and run while screaming like a girl! :)

  2. Oh my goodness, she is SO cute!!! I LOVE that 1 year outfit, lol! And I am so jealous of your gymboree fun - we don't have one (or ANYthing like it) here:(. I sure know how it feels to be crazy busy. I haven't blogged much either - and so be it! I'd rather have fun with my babies:). Hope your hubby is doing better!

  3. I enjoyed this post because it reminds me that I am not the only person in the world who doesnt have 15 minutes to write a blog post because my 9 1/2 month old keeps me soooo busy too!

But, you know, it would be easier to sit around on our duffs and do nothing but blog... while our kids screamed for our attention.. but we are good Momma's who put our kids first. That's the way I look at it! = )

I can tell that you are a very good Mom! Paisley is always dressed to perfection with her hair fixed and her face clean. Her tummy is full and there is a big smile on her face in most of your pics... that means that she is a happy little girl who knows that her Momma loves her! Great job!

    God bless

    XOXO

  4. Absolutely precious!! So jealous that she's walking, too. Ours are 13 months adjusted age and still not walking ... ugh it's killing me, I need them to walk so I can stop lugging 4 kids everywhere (it's killer on the back!). Only Ethan takes steps, sadness!

It has been WAY too long since I’ve posted here and I’m eager to rejoin the blogging world!!!  The kids are 5 and 7 and super fun, I’m working at a medspa doing injectables and lasers full time and I’m 14 years in to marriage now.   But here’s where life has now lead me!  I have been driven to do a medical mission trip over the past few weeks and I’m very set on Haiti.  Yes, they are currently having a temper tantrum over the increased fuel prices which they definitely can’t afford, but that country needs help!!!!!   So, I’m here to tell my story of how this all goes!  I’ll need lots of prayers and support in this crazy endeavor!

Meet Our Little Miracle, Paisley Kate

The post I have been waiting 2 years to write is finally here and I can't really believe it. On Saturday, I woke up at 8:30 a.m. with BAD contractions. By the 2nd one, I knew I was in "real" labor. They were SO different than the braxton-hicks. I got out of bed and decided that I'd take a bath, until water ran down both legs. The pain after that got pretty unbearable immediately and I was having contractions every 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. So, I called Aaron at work to tell him it was "the big day". He decided I was kidding until I nearly leapt through the phone to wring his neck. :) We got to the hospital an hour later and I was dilated to a 4 and having very active contractions. They quickly got me moved to an L&D room. I got my epidural ( AMAZING - we'll talk about this in its own post soon) at a 6 and then my doctor broke my water. (Apparently at home, it had just leaked a pocket of fluid). After he broke my water, labor started picking up ...

Blogging Failure

The fact that I blog less than I exercise is not a good sign.  I miss you all.  And I'm glad to be where I'm at because the problem is that my cup runneth over.  Life is crazy.  The kids are growing and becoming real people and exploring and I'm still struggling to figure out how to parent a VERY challenging 3-year-old. Dear Paisley is actually quite a joy to raise.  She is spunky and energetic and funny.  We desperately struggle to stifle our laughter as we discipline her for things that I never expected her to do or say.  She is the center of attention and loves her baby brother like there's no tomorrow.  I've never met a more opinionated and divalicious child though.  She picks every piece of clothing she wears, which toy she brings in the car, exactly what she is willing to eat, how her hair is fixed, which door she uses to get in the car, etc.  I hear you out there judging me.  I would have to until I gave birth to Whitney ...
